Founded in 2020, Daren’s vision built up over a thirty-five year career of a firm for engineers, by engineers, and guiding the next generation of engineers has rapidly come into fruition.
Since then, Shumate Engineering’s ever-growing roster of engineers have collaborated on many projects — from the namesakes of northern Virginia’s “Data Center Alley” and the rapidly growing DMV housing market to new prospects in Richmond and beyond — all while coming into our own as a tightly-knit team.
And as a Virginia-designated small business (SWaM), we are eager to partner with like-minded firms to pursue the highest standards of AE design.
